Booking, payment and cancellation conditions

Once the customer has made a booking and paid for it in accordance with the terms of the contract, the booking and cancellation conditions become binding and obligatory for both parties.

Reservations and payment

  • The service provider is Taiga Bear Kuusamo Oy
  • All prices include VAT
  • The person making the reservation must be 18 years of age or older
  • We accept bookings via our booking calendar/system on our website (preferred way), but you can also make a booking by phone or email.
  • Payment is made at the time of booking via the booking system on our website or on the spot by card. If you want to pay in cash, you must have exact change!
  • Epassi and Smartum are also accepted as payment methods.
  • Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) is the payment intermediary and payment service provider on our website in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Plc will be shown as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement. Paytrail Plc will forward the payment to the merchant. For reclamations, please contact the website the payment was made to.

Cancellations

  • The minimum group size is 4 people. If the minimum group size is not reached by 4 p.m. the day before, the excursion will be cancelled and the possible payment will be refunded.
  • You can cancel your booking by sending an email to info@taigabearkuusamo.fi
  • The reservation can be transferred to another day free of charge.
  • If cancelled 7 days or less before the event, an office service fee of EUR 30 will be charged.
  • We charge a 50% cancellation fee if cancelled less than 7 days before the event
  • If cancellation is made less than 3 days before the event, a 100% cancellation fee will be charged.
  • If cancellation has to be made for compelling reasons, such as sudden illness or accident, the cancellation is free of charge. Please be prepared to provide a medical certificate.

Service

  • Taiga Bear Kuusamo Oy has the right to change the duration or course of the programme if necessary for compelling reasons, e.g. a dangerous weather condition or other hazardous situation.
  • The programme may be suspended or cancelled if the customer’s actions pose a safety risk to themselves or other customers.
  • Taiga Bear Kuusamo Oy is not liable for any force majeure or unforeseeable hindrance or cause. These include, for example. a natural disaster, hurricane, strike, pandemic or road disruption. An excursion cancelled due to force majeure can be rescheduled free of charge or the advance payment can be refunded.

Insurance

  • Taiga Bear Kuusamo Oy has liability insurance against accidents. Our liability insurance covers damages caused by any wrongful act of Taiga Bear Kuusamo Oy.
  • We recommend that each of our customers has personal travel and accident insurance.
